In English, we have been reading the book Varjak Paw.

We focused on describing the setting, character, and creating atmosphere. We also wrote letters and diary entries in role as Varjak Paw.

   

In Maths, we have learnt how to read and write Roman Numerals, complete long written methods for multiplication and division, found common factors and multiples and solved problems involving scaling.

     

In RE, we have been learning about Islam. Our big question was: What does it mean to be a Muslim?

  

In Science, we have been learning about Earth and Space. We created mnemonics to remind us of the order of the planets.

   

In Topic, we learnt about rivers and mountains. We located them on a map, found their significance and learnt about how they were formed.

During Freedom Week, we learnt about the diet of a slave and how this affects them and made a vehicle to help a slave escape.
