Spring 2 in Year 4 had many highlights. In Science, children learnt about Scientists and Inventors such as Alexander Graham Bell and Garrett Morgan. In RE children learnt about Holy Communion and how it builds a Christian community, thereby helping them understand the importance of Easter for Christians. In Maths children learnt about converting decimals into fractions and their equivalences. While in Geography children developed their map-reading skills by interpreting the data found in the index of an atlas.

Children were also introduced to Hockey by specialist PE coaches who helped them gain new skills in batting and bowling. Finally, in English children learnt about play scripts and had an opportunity to write their play script for their peers having read the core text ‘Wonder.’ We are all so proud of you, Perseverance class.
